Not me! Monday

In keeping with "Not me! Monday" tradition. Here goes the fun beginning to another week.

On our trip to the ER this past Thursday evening, I DID NOT pack myself extra clothes and completely forget a set for my son! During said visit, when I was thrown up on three times (one being in my lap)I DID NOT completely strip Will down to his diaper. I also DID NOT question the Doctor MULTIPLE times when she told me he had an ear infection and again before his dose of Rocefin.

Upon leaving the hospital, I ABSOLUTELY did NOT run through the pouring rain, my naked baby in his stroller, to get to our vehicle on the other side of the parking lot. And I surely DID NOT hit the Chik-fil-A drive through with barf in my lap and a naked baby sleeping in my backseat.

On Friday, I DID NOT completely enjoy my drool bath given to me by my sick little love. I DID NOT enjoy every single second of holding my rapidly growing toddler as if he were 2 pounds again and relying on ME for every single bit of his care. I was NOT so afraid of waking him that I attempted to eat my Philly cheese steak sandwich with one hand. I would love to tell you it worked, but he ended up in the tub in a sad attempt to lower his 102 degree fever.

Having over 24 hours of high fever, I did NOT show up at the Pediatricians office without an appointment, expecting to be seen. Fortunately, this worked out for us and we got a medication that Will could tolerate and were fever free in no time.

Since Will had not slept at all on Friday night and hardly napped on Saturday, I did NOT give him Tylenol with codeine (we had left over from his surgery) in a SAD attempt to get some sleep for all of us. OK OK OK, We also DID NOT give him this in order to spend a little time outside with all of our neighbors that evening. No worries, we were in our back yard and well within range of the baby monitor!

Oh also this weekend, I DID NOT lose my wallet full of cash while out scouring yard sales for some great deals! After said yard sales, I certainly DID NOT go rummaging through the trash for leftovers! During our outing, I had bought Will some play clothes. Thank goodness I DID NOT put him in them before washing them, once realizing he had diarrhea so bad he had leaked out of his diaper AND clothing!

We went for a walk to the PX on Sunday morning. Will DID NOT sleep the entire 3 miles!! Also, while there, I DID NOT see my good friends husband and wonder WHO the heck he was and WHY he was talking to me. Good thing she knew about my weekend and completely understood even thinking it was a bit funny!
