Weekend Report

This has been a rather fun weekend!! On Friday evening, Morgan stayed the night with a friend. She has not done that in such a long time!! Since leaving Nashville, it has been really difficult to find friends here. Thankfully she has a good one! At least for a few weeks while my friend Liz's step kids are here in town! Morgan and her daughter Reagan play SO well together!

On Saturday, we had a LOT to do!! One of our neighbors, Heather, and her family were moving the next day. So we had a HUGE cook out. I think the majority of the neighbor hood was there. We ate and talked until our hearts were content! Though I was not feeling to well, allergies and all, we still had a nice time. Reagan stayed with us that night and the girls have done so well.

Today, Sunday, we have been just busy little beavers! Will and I got up and headed to Dunkin' Donuts for some yummy (super high calorie) goodies! Will and I ADORE the blue berry donuts! No worries, we grabbed everyone else's favorites too. Since the kids and I are not going to be here for Father's Day next weekend, we had ours today.

After Will took a nap we headed out the door. We took a three mile walk as a family. That has become one of our favorite things to do. After our walk we went to Olive Garden for a SUPER late lunch. Yeah I know, it makes perfectly good since to go to Olive Garden and load up on pasta AFTER a three mile walk!!!But it is Mike's day, so it was his call.

After our late lunch we headed back here to the PX. After walking the aisles and NOT buying a much needed fishing pole. Mike found what he wanted...a slip'n'slide. I kid you not!! I DO have pictures to prove it and they WILL be posted in a day or so. The kids and I also gave him our gifts. Morgan gave him a ceramic pig she had painted and Will and I gave him a picture frame and a pencil holder for his office. We (I) made them both. They are a bit cheesy I do admit, but they were SO much fun to make and he never told us what he "wanted." So he got what we gave him. He seems to really like them all, especially the bobble head pig! :)

So this has been our day until now and both kids are headed to bed VERY soon!! I hope you all have had a great weekend. Have a great Monday!
