This is what we did this morning. My Mom used to make them for my sisters and I when we were younger. So I thought I would make them for my kiddos. It turned out easier than I remembered and SO yummy. Here is what ya do.
here is what you'll need: oil for deep frying, 1-2 cans biscuits, confectioners sugar, Hershey's cocoa, milk and a medicine cup.
1) Pop open your biscuits and "cut" out the middle with the medicine cup. Save the cut out parts for doughnut holes!!
2) Heat up your oil and drop in doughnuts 2-3 at a time. Make sure to keep an eye on them because they cook fast!!
3) make your icing. For regular glaze its just confectioners sugar and a TINY bit of milk, mix until smooth. For the chocolate, add a teaspoon of Hershey's cocoa.
4) Dip your doughnuts, let them cool and enjoy!!
Morgan really enjoyed getting to ice ALL of the doughnuts. Mike, Will, Morgan and I all enjoyed eating them. I hope you enjoy it too!
Till then y'all.
