Do you ever feel...

Defeated?? Discouraged??

This is the second week in a row we have had to walk out of church service. I just feel as though Satan is trying to get a hold and not let go!!

Last week we all got up and dressed and headed out to church. Since arriving here i November, this was our first attempt at service. I know, I know, we are a little behind. But, we are making a valiant effort. We arrived just before service started and asked where the nursery was for Will. The Usher obviously didn't hear us or was completely clueless, because she said there was no such critter. Will DID NOT enjoy being told to sit and shush. We made it through the announcements for the week. NOT GOOD!

This week, again, we all got up and ready for church. With the usual Easter morning basket delay of course. Off to church we go, looking MIGHTY cute I must say. We had since been informed of the nursery AND the location of such so that we could drop Will and make it through service. NOT happening!! Halfway through the Easter Choir cantata Morgan began to feel nauseated. I must agree, it WAS rather warm in the auditorium, so I can see where she might not have been feeling her best. We tried the "going potty" thing to make sure she could g and get all of her business done and maybe that would help. NOPE. She was in tears, so again, we headed home.

I felt so bad for saying something to her about it because on the way home she apologized profusely about making us leave church. She was guilt ridden. I informed her multiple times that it was NOT her fault her belly hurt and things would be just fine. Once home, she jumped right into her Jammie's and has been in her bed watching cartoons and playing DS since. She has yet to ask for lunch and it is almost 1pm. I hope her tummy begins to feel better soon.

I refuse to let Satan get the better of this situation. We ARE going to church next week! And if it takes us two months of going to be able to make it through ONE service, so be it.

Thank you all for listening to me rant. I will get some pictures from the day posted as soon as possible.

Till then y'all.

  1. Oh i have days like that a lot here but the one thing that you have is that you don't give up. The main thing is your heart is saying go and your all managing to get to Church.
You have a foot in the door and the rest will surely follow in time.
Good luck for next week hun
