Well hello all! I hope you all had great Tuesdays! Ours was fab for the most part. Will and I went to the "kids fair" today on post. It was SMALL but just the right size for an 18 month old little man and his best buddy Robert.
We arrived at the fair about 11. They were handing out toys and jammies...FOR FREE!! So Will got a cool new Sesame Street toy and some sweet Carter's jams. That's a great thing because most of his jammies have suddenly shrunk!! Will also got a few things for his sister, a puzzle and some Crayola color wonder paper. Wasn't that sweet of him?? After walking around and playing for a little bit, we decided to ride the train. He really did enjoy this! He was awe struck I do believe. They also had hot dogs and chips, but since Will and I are not really into hot dogs, we went and grabbed some Church's chicken on the way home. We split our chicken, fries and biscuit and Will took a GREAT nap!!!
Morgan got home and finished her homework in record time I think. Once she was finished and Will had woken up, we went for a little walk. First we went to get our friend Robert and his stinking cute pregnant mommy, Liz. We decided to walk down to the lake. Literally a hop, skip and jump from our home. Liz apparently knows what the fish and turtles like. She brought along a bag of croutons! Morgan really enjoyed feeding the blue gill and turtles. The bass were obviously eating something MUCH better than croutons and blue gill because they never showed up. We hung out there for a little while then headed back home.
Morgan spotted her friend, Pablo and Maria , from a mile away. They were playing in the sprinkler. She quickly changed and headed over. Liz and I talked for a little longer until BOTH of our husbands were asking "What's for dinner?"
Apparently T.G.I. Friday's is having a salad/sandwich special going on right now. There is a list of salads and burgers that are only 5 BUCKS!!! Mike thought this would be a great treat for dinner. I could not have agreed more! We don't eat out too often. Between he and I and two kids, it can get rather pricey. We ordered and enjoyed. Morgan devoured some ribs. Mike enjoyed a burger. Will loved spaghetti as usual and I had one of the BEST salads ever!! It was a Santa Fe type salad with corn and black beans and chicken and OH YUM! I suggest getting one if you are near a T.G.I. Fridays and if not, go to Red Robin and get the Fiesta Chicken salad, its super close!!
The kids went to bed rather well last night. And they BOTH slept all night. No sleep walking, very little sleep talking, and no 5am wake up call from Will. Once the kiddos were in bed last night. I went dumpster diving! I know, right?? Anyhow. We had the community yard sale this past weekend and you were SUPPOSED to have everything up by 3pm the same day. Well, somebody didn't listen. Or maybe they just wanted to get rid of more stuff. But anyway, this Little Tike's slide has been sitting on the curb for 3 days!! I could not pass it up one more day!!! So, when the kids went to bed (and Biggest Loser was over) I ran out to get it. It looks so pretty in my back yard right next to the matching Little Tike's pic nick table! :)
Today, we NORMALLY have PT at 8:30am. Well, we have had SO many problems with this therapist is ridiculous. But now she is down with appendicitis. Not something you can prevent, I know. So the eventually found us a new therapist that we are getting to meet this afternoon. I HOPE this therapist is much better than the last one and I hope she is as close to ON TIME as possible!! We have a lot to do today!!
While Will is napping I hope to have all of the laundry put away. It is folded and ready to go. I just need a moment without him by my side, to get it put away! It's Wednesday so Morgan will be home from school a little after noon. We have to start working on a project that is due this Friday. Also, we have to go to the grocery store. She has a field trip tomorrow and has to have a packed lunch. We are out of lunch "stuff." Hopefully we get all of this finished BEFORE PT!! And after PT we have to meet with our photographer to finish the kids shoot. I have to iron their Easter clothes for this AND we will be going to Yorktown. I am SO excited to see the finished product. She stopped by and showed a few samples...I'm speechless! I cannot wait to show them off.
Anyhow, I think this post is long enough. Will has a dirty rear end and it's almost nap time! :)
Have a Wonderful Wednesday everyone!
Till then y'all.
