I know, I know

It has been a while since I last posted. But trust me, a lot has happened since that post. I had a job interview, got hired, quit my old job and have had a hayday of a time getting childcare in order for Morgan and Will. It has been interresting to say the least. But I am trying to keep on the positive side of things, so let's not discuss all the craziness that has been going on here recently.

I choose to talk about Fall today. Since it is the first OFFICIAL day and all. I LOVE the fall season! I am already putting art projects in my head. I cannot wait to have the time (or money) to do a few. Heck, who am I kidding, I already have Winter ideas in my head. Now if I could only fallow thru. Hmmm, I will have to work on that.

This weekend was very nice. I had the ENTIRE weekend off to be with my family. On Friday evening we went over to Travis and Allison's house for a cook out. Morgan had a sleepover, so it was just me and the boy's. We sat and talked for hours. We played cornhole until our shoulders hurt. It was truely a blast.

On Saturday we headed over to Eddie and Liz's house for yet, another cookout. I know, difficult times, right?! I attempted to make some cute little ghost cupcakes. They were the ugliest things I have ever seen! but oh man they were YUMMY! Dinner took longer than we expected to be read and Will was having none of it! He threw such a nasty fit that Mike took him home, fed him and had him in the bath by the time Morgan and I got there. Will went to bed early that night.

Sunday, Morgan and I had a nice "Girls Only" morning. We went to Khols and while I tried on some pants, Morgan tried on every beautiful dress she could find in her size. She looked SO pretty in most of them and if I had a reason to buy one, I would have. She hung in while I found what I needed and I appreciate that. After Khols we went to a store called Five Below. She was in kid heaven. I basically relate it to the best place a kid could spend their allowence. Everything in the store is $5 or below. She had a blast picking something out. After our morning, went headed home so that Mike could head out.

He wanted to go to a local sports bar to watch his football game. He called from there and told me to bring on the kids as soon as Will woke up. It is a small, smoke free, no cursing, extreamly family friendly pub of sorts. The food was great and we WILL be going back to Beef 'O' Brady's. Bonus, kids eat free on Tuesday nights!! I see many future Tuesdays there.

Will, Morgan and I enjoyed a little bit of time and lunch with Mike and then we headed out. I have been looking for some type of toy storage for our living room. We enjoy Will playing in here, but the toys are getting too big for the space they are in right now. Anyhow, the kids and I headed to Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Still, I found nothing I was super thrilled with for a price I liked. Oh well...home we went.

So sorry I have not been around in a while, but as you can see, we have been rather busy. I will attemot to do better at keeping the blog updated and try to find a few topics to discuss.

Till' then y'all.
