Monday, Monday

So what has your Monday been like? Mine has been pretty stinking good, so far. Though we woke up late and had to literally RUN out the door to get Morgan to school on time, we made it. I came home and both the boys were still sleeping. I went for a short little walk. It was SUCH a pretty day! Once I got home I realized I didnt have an y brown sugar for apple butter! I swear it was destine for me NOT to make this stinking apple butter. I have run into so many snags along the way, ugh, BUT I made it! :) I took Jack, our dog, with me to the grocery store to get some brown sugar. Dont worry, he stayed in the truck, windows cracked. Once I got home, both of my sweet boys were awake and eating breakfast. I went to work on the apple butter. After coring and peeling and cutting 16 apples this stuff better be yummy!! It has been in the crock pot ALL day long! After getting that started I decided we were going to have spaghetti for dinner tonight. I got the stuff together and made some homemade sauce. It, too, has been simmering ALL day long. My house smells SOOOOOOOO yummy! Now my house smells yummy and my laundry is folded and half put away. I would say it has been a productive day.

As for the kids...they really are the same. Morgan has started her Accelerated Reader program in school. I HOPE the teacher lets them do more than ONE book a week. She is so ahead of the majority of her class in reading. But rather average everywhere else. Will, is Will. he is just the sweetest little boy ever and learning how to give kisses. Sometimes he will just head but you and other times he just makes the kiss sound. We will get there eventually. He started stacking blocks the other day. I was SO proud! Today, when I went to get him from his morning nap, he had his blanket and stuffed giraffe in one hand and was holding onto the bed with the other and just jumping away saying "momma momma momma." So sweet! Anyhow, I know this post is rather random and all over but, oh well.
