This morning as I sit here in an empty house, I decided it was high time God and I had a little one on one time. I have been failing MISERABLY in this for way too long. Now I am not saying this will become a daily thing for me, thugh it totally should, but it was nice this morning.
I set my Google search for "morning devotionals" and I came a to a lovely little spot that has both morning and evening devotions. Today the topic was (as you more than likely already guessed) Trials and Tribulations. Now, I KNOW that I have been through some stuff in this life, so I am pretty sure you have too. Here is my most favorite part of this mornings devotion
"But although tribulation is thus the path of God's children, they have the comfort of knowing that thier Master has traversed it before them; they have his presence and sympathy to cheer them, his grace to support them, and his example to teach them how to endure; and when they reach "the kingdom", it will more than make amends for the "much tribulation" through wich they passed to enter it."
Isnt that kind of cool. God already knows every trial and tribulation we are ever going to encounter and even knows HOW we will react to is. So therefor we can rely on him completely knowing that even if NOBODY else understand how bad our trials and tribulations are completely stinking at any particular point in time, God does. He has already been there, done that, got the t-shirt and willing to let you fall into his arms as you walk through life together. What an amazing lesson for the day.
